How much does it cost?

Ateliers

The 1 hour ateliers on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday cost £7.50 each.

The 90 minutes Ateliers on Wednesday cost £10.50 each.

** Attention *** For the first term of 2020-2021, due to the health rules linked to Covid 19, the Wednesday clubs last 1 hour 15 minutes and cost £9.

Each term price is based on the number of weeks in the term.

Morning Garderie

Morning garderie operates with a single price of £10/week charged for the whole term.

Term 1 – No Garderie

Term 3 – 10 weeks – £100  (to be confirmed – awaiting Covid guidances)

Ateliers and Morning Garderie must be paid for during the registration period before the beginning of each term.

What are the price difference for each term?

Prices are calculated based on the number of weeks in each term.

In 2020-21 the 1st term has 7 weeks, the 2nd term has 11 weeks and the 3rd term has 9 weeks – 10 weeks for the Garderie – (to be confirmed – awaiting Covid guidances)

How do I pay if I don't have a PayPal account?

You don’t need a Paypal account to pay via Paypal, you can use your debit / credit card.

£5 been added to my invoice. Why?

An administrative fee of £5 is added for any registration made after the closing of the registration period.

My child is boursier. Can I get a free Atelier?

“Boursiers” are entitled to a free atelier or free Morning Garderie. You just have to indicate on your Family Space that you benefit from this grant and the discount will be done automatically.

Can I pay for the ateliers with Childcare Vouchers ?

The Ateliers do not accept Childcare Vouchers as a way of payment.

Do I have to pay the yearly ateliers in full in September ?

No, yearly ateliers must be paid in three installments during the registration period of each term.

Who can pick up my child?

Rules for pick up are the same as the school’s.

All Children must leave with an authorised adult only.

Parents must fill the list on their Family Space for permanent and/or temporary authorisations.

Older children (CM1 and CM2) can also be authorised to leave on their own (see Pick-up Authorisation).

Does my child need insurance?

The Ateliers ask that all children have the same insurance requested by the school. The insurance is the responsibility of the parents.

Your personal insurance might cover extra curricular activities, but if not the parents association offer one through their website www.apl-cdg.org.uk 

My child is not attending Marie d’Orliac School or Fulham Bilingual, can he/she attend the Ateliers or the Morning Garderie?

No, the Ateliers and the Morning Garderie are strictly organised for the Marie d’Orliac and Fulham Bilingual pupils only.

Is it possible to register for one day or one week only?

Registrations for the Morning Garderie and the Ateliers are for the whole term. It is not possible to register a child for a specific day/week only.

When?

The Ateliers and Morning Garderie are based on the French calendar.

The Morning Garderie is from 7.50am till 8.20am. Children must arrive between 7.50am and 8.00am

Ateliers take place from 3.20pm to 4.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 1.15pm till 2.45pm on Wednesday.

Pick up is at 4.30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and at 2.45pm on Wednesday from Gate B.

One exception: Football on Wednesday with Duet Academy takes place in South Park. Children are escorted to the park by the coaches and picked up directly from the park.

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS

Who?

Les Ateliers and the Morning Garderie are exclusively for pupils of Marie d’Orliac and Fulham Bilingual.

The clubs supervisors are mostly school teaching staff (teachers, assistants and playground supervisors) as well as some specialist external teachers.

You can find the names of each workshop supervisor on the schedule or workshops pages.

Do I register my child for a term or for the whole year ?

The majority of registrations are for the term except for some workshops (Ukulele, Judo, Karate, Ballet, Mandarin, Spanish, Guitar, Couture) which are for the whole year.

In 2020-21, registrations are only done per term until otherwise possible according to Covid 19 government guidances.

£5 been added to my invoice. Why?

An administrative fee of £ 5 is added for any registration made after the closing of the registration period.

Why has my basket been emptied?

The registration must be completed within ten minutes.

The timer starts when you select the first workshop, you then have ten minutes in which to add any other workshop and proceed with payment.

If you have not done so in the allocated time, your basket will be emptied.

I didn’t get the workshop I wanted. Is there a waiting list?

YES.

If you have not managed to register for the workshop you want, contact us at [email protected] and we will add the name of your child to the waiting list of the chosen workshop.

The waiting list is scrupulously completed on a first-come, first-served basis. We will contact you immediately if space becomes available.

Please note that if a space becomes available after the end of the registration period, an administration fee of £ 5 will be added to the price of the remaining sessions.

My child is “boursier”. Can I get a free atelier ?

I’ve completed my registration, can I add more ateliers?

If the registration period is still open, you can log in and add more ateliers.

Please note that a £5 admin fee will be automatically added for all registrations done outside the registration period.

Why are some Ateliers for the whole year?

In some ateliers continuity is essential for children to progress and make the most of the sessions (judo, mandarin, guitar for example).

They may also have the possibility to pass gradings or be grouped by abilities.

YES, a little snack will ensure they get the most out of their Ateliers!

Children have time to eat between the end of class and the beginning of the ateliers.

Also don’t forget to give your child a bottle of water, especially if they are doing sports!

I already have four people authorized to pick up my children, why can I not add more?

It is not possible to have more than 4 people authorised to pick up your children on your “Permanent Authorisation” list.

Please note : both parents/carers are automatically authorised and do not need to be added to the list.

However, you can always add a different person for a specific date under “Exceptional Authorisation” on your Family Space.

Make sure to keep the list up to date.

This service enables you to drop your children from PS to CM2 off at school from 7.50am. Children must arrive between 7.50 and 8am.

The Morning Garderie is supervised by members of the school teaching staff.

Depending on the weather, the children play either outside in the playground or indoors.

At 8h15, the maternelles are escorted in their class and the older children join their teacher and classmates in the playground.

**Please note** The Morning Garderie operates with a single price of £10/week, charged for the whole term.

The registration is valid for every day on a Use as You Need basis. This means that all who register pay for the whole term. It is not possible to book for a specific day or set dates. Families are then free to use the service as much as they need.
