Premier Chess Coaching provides chess lessons for children and adults in various schools and clubs throughout London. Football until 3.30

Under the keen eye of a fully qualified Duet Academy football coach, children from GS-CM2 can fine-tune their footie skills and play matches on the South Park football pitch until 3.30. Duet is offering the last 45 minutes of this session free of charge. By signing up to this club you are consenting that your children will be in the care of Duet and not Les Ateliers from 14.45. Pick up at 3.30 from the changing room in South Park. The children will need the Duet Uniform (to be ordered online here: http://www.kitlocker.com/sportingduetacademy/match-kit) or appropriate warm sportswear (ideally a tracksuit) and a water resistant rain jacket. An excellent club for those just arrived at the school - this club teaches French in a fun atmosphere and will really help your children get to grips with the language and become confident speakers. This club is for children who are starting to learn French and NOT for children who are already fluent.

Morning garderie

This service enables you to drop your children from PS to CM2 off at school from 7.50am. Children must arrive between 7.50 and 8am. The Morning Garderie is supervised by members of the school teaching staff. Depending on the weather, the children play either outside in the playground or indoors. At 8h15, the maternelles are escorted in their class and the older children join their teacher and classmates in the playground. **Please note** The Morning Garderie operates with a single price of £10/week, charged for the whole term. The registration is valid for every day on a Use as You Need basis. This means that all who register pay for the whole term. It is not possible to book for a specific day or set dates. Families are then free to use the service as much as they need. The Morning Garderie is based on the French calendar.

Nature and Gardening

Even in winter there is still plenty to do in our Nature and Gardening Club. In the classroom they will be planting succulents and creating nourishing treats to help birds get through the winter months. Phonics

This Atelier is perfect for MS and GS children in the bilingual section who need help with their phonics and reading. The children can bring their reading books so they can practise some reading. Phonics is a method of teaching children to connect the letters of the alphabet to the sounds that they make and blend them for reading. It consists in identifying the individual sounds (phonemes) within words and segmenting them for spelling. The children will develop those skills by playing some phonics games. For children who don’t have any phonics knowledge we will start from the very beginning.

Tag Rugby

Tag Rugby is a fantastic introduction to the game of rugby and really helps increase fitness due to its fast pace. It’s a fun, fast-moving, non-contact game. Each player wears a Tag Belt with Velcro tags attached to them. Attacking players must dodge defenders who are attempting to ‘tag’ them by pulling the Velcro tag from the player with the ball. As Tag Rugby is a non-contact sport, harsh tackles are not allowed. In French.
